Craig Rogers, 30, from Harewood Rise, Keighley, has been slammed with a hefty 70-month prison sentence. The Bradford Crown Court sentenced him on 12 March after he admitted two counts of modern-day slavery.

Victims Exploited and Forced into Crime

Rogers preyed on two vulnerable victims living on Harewood Road. Using coercion and force, he made them handle and store Class A drugs. Worse, he hijacked their home addresses, stole their benefits, and forced them to work without pay.

Intimidation, Threats and Abuse

The victims endured constant threats, assaults, and intimidation while trapped under Rogers’ control. The brutal exploitation was uncovered thanks to Bradford District’s Precision team working with Keighley Neighbourhood Policing Team.

“Both victims were subjected to threats, assaults and intimidation,” court records confirm.

This ruthless case highlights the ongoing battle against modern slavery in the UK.
