Man’s Body Found Dumped in Wheelie Bin in Coventry Park
Shocking scenes in Coventry as police launch urgent appeal after a man’s body was discovered stuffed inside a wheelie bin in a local park.
Grim Discovery in Cash’s Park
A passerby made the chilling find around 5 pm yesterday in Cash’s Park off Daimler Road. The victim, believed to be aged between 40 and 50, has not yet been identified. He was found crammed inside a Coventry City Council wheelie bin with a green lid.
Officers are working closely with the council to trace the bin’s origins and how it ended up in the park.
Police Seek Driver Connected to Incident
Detective Chief Inspector Phil Poole from the Major Crime Unit revealed: “We believe this man was hit by a vehicle and then moved to the park.”
He added a plea to the public: “If you think you may have hit someone with your car, noticed unusual behaviour from a driver you know, or seen damage to a vehicle, we want to hear from you — urgently.”
Authorities are also appealing for anyone who has recently lost a wheelie bin with a green lid to come forward.
