Man Found Knife-Wounded in Cricklewood Dead at Scene

A murder probe is underway after a man was found fatally stabbed in Cricklewood early Friday.

Emergency Called to Anson Road

London Ambulance Service alerted police at 6.45am on 21 February following reports of an injured man on Anson Road, NW2.

Officers and paramedics rushed to the scene where a 42-year-old man was discovered with a knife wound to his neck.

Victim Pronounced Dead, Identity Believed Confirmed

Despite medics’ efforts, the man was pronounced dead at 7.30am. Authorities have notified next of kin. While formal ID is pending, the victim is believed to be Lennox Nigel Alecendor from Harlesden.

Homicide Investigation Launched

A post-mortem is set for 22 February. Detective Chief Inspector Simon Stancombe has taken charge of the murder inquiry as police hunt for answers.
