Tragedy on M55: A motorcyclist has died following a horror crash on the M55 westbound last night.
Fatal Collision Shuts Motorway
Police were called at 9:05pm on Sunday, September 6, after reports of a crash about a mile before junction 3 on the M55 westbound.
The smash involved a car and a motorbike, followed by a second collision between the motorcyclist and a van.
Tragically, the rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two Arrests Made
Two people have been arrested in connection with the incident and are currently in police custody.
Road Closure and Driver Warning
The motorway remains closed in both directions between junctions 1 and 3 as police continue their investigation. The closure is expected to last for some time.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area and find alternative routes.
