Detectives have launched a murder investigation after a deadly stabbing rocked Hammersmith on Sunday evening.
Fatal Stabbing Shakes Lena Gardens
Just before 6pm on 15 March, police were called to a residence in Lena Gardens following reports of a stabbing. Officers and paramedics found two men suffering stab wounds.
Tragically, an 18-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene despite emergency efforts to save him.
Suspect Arrested but Hospitalised
The second man, in his 30s, was rushed to hospital with injuries. He has since been arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains in stable condition and will be taken into police custody once discharged.
Police say the victim and suspect knew each other, treating the attack as an isolated incident.
Police Urge Locals to Come Forward
“Our thoughts are with the victim’s family at this tragic time. We understand this news is upsetting for local residents. A crime scene remains in place at Lena Gardens and patrols have been stepped up. Please come forward if you have any information or concerns,” said Superintendent Pali Grewal, leading neighbourhood policing in Hammersmith and Fulham.
