Tragic Crash Claims Life of Brave PC Bradley Corke

PC Bradley Corke has died after a serious collision on the A20. The 27-year-old officer was critically injured while responding to an urgent call on Thursday, March 19, 2026, and succumbed to his injuries two days later.

Crash Details: High-Speed Collision on A20

The smash happened around 7.45pm at the Button Street junction, involving a marked Ford Focus police car and a VW Scirocco. PC Corke was travelling with a colleague who remains in critical condition. A member of the public in the second vehicle is also seriously injured.

Kent Police Launch Full Investigation, Seek Witnesses

Kent Police are hunting for dashcam footage and witness accounts to piece together what went wrong. Dashcam clips can also be uploaded via the Kent Police website.

Tributes Flood In for Fallen Officer

“With deep sadness Kent Police announce the death of PC Bradley Corke, 27, who died yesterday after being critically injured in the line of duty,” said a force spokesperson. “Bradley selflessly gave up his life while trying to save others. His bravery, dedication and passion for helping people will never be forgotten.”

PC Corke joined Kent Police in May 2022. He served mainly in West Kent towns and was based in Tonbridge. The force is providing support to his family and colleagues, who are described as “devastated” by the loss.
