A dangerous drug dealer has been locked up for threatening a teenage boy and forcing him to deal drugs to pay off supposed debts.
Brandon Simcox Busted in Tough Greater Manchester Crackdown
Brandon Simcox, homeless and desperate, was handed a 27-month prison sentence on Friday 17 April. He admitted to multiple offences, including supplying cannabis, possession with intent to supply, harassment, and using communications to intimidate. Greater Manchester Police launched their operation after receiving alarm bells about Simcox exploiting a 16-year-old boy. The dealer was pushing the teen to sell drugs while hurling threats and demanding money for alleged ‘debts’.
Threats and Intimidation Spark Police Action
Simcox bombarded the boy with chilling messages, threatening violence against him and his family. The harassment even extended to the teen’s relatives, leaving the family in fear for their safety. Local safeguarding teams raised red flags in August 2024, leading to Simcox’s arrest and a police raid on his property.
Drugs, Cash and Phones Seized in Police Raid
Officers uncovered multiple bags of cannabis, weighing scales, a stash of cash, and three mobile phones being used as drug lines. Bank statements revealed regular payments from suspected drug users straight into Simcox’s accounts. Despite initially remaining silent during interviews, Simcox later pleaded guilty, sealing his fate behind bars.
