Van Rams Nationwide Bank in Market Square – Suspect Arrested!

Chaos erupted at the Nationwide bank in Market Square when a van smashed straight into the front of the building. The shocking crash was reported to kent-police/" title="Kent Police" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Kent Police at 4.50am on Wednesday, 28 October 2020.

The stolen van ploughed into the bank, causing heavy damage to the premises. Officers rushed to the scene and quickly arrested a 26-year-old man from croydon/" title="Croydon" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Croydon, who now faces burglary charges.

Investigation Underway

Detectives from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate have launched an all-out probe into the brazen attack. Enquiries are ongoing as they piece together the events leading up to the crash.
