Police swooped on Broadway in Bexleyheath at around 6.50pm on Saturday, 8 April after reports a man was spotted with a “ball bearing” gun.
Armed Man Busted in Bexleyheath
Officers quickly found the suspect, a man in his late 30s, nearby and arrested him on the spot. Authorities recovered what is believed to be an air weapon at the scene.
Man Arrested and Hospitalised
The arrested man was taken to hospital as a precaution following the incident. Police continue to investigate.
