Tragic Crash on B4393: Lorry and Two Cars Collide
Emergency services raced to a serious crash on the B4393 Alberbury Road, Ford, at 12.20pm today. A lorry and two cars were involved, prompting West Midlands Ambulance Service to dispatch two ambulances, a paramedic officer, plus the Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care Car and full air ambulance from Cosford.
One Man Dies at Scene, Others Seriously Injured
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman revealed crews found three casualties on arrival.
“One man was in critical condition and already receiving help from fire service colleagues. Sadly, nothing could be done, and he was confirmed dead at the scene.”
The spokesman added:
“A woman suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to Royal Stoke University Hospital after treatment at the scene. Another man was treated for potentially serious injuries before being taken to the same hospital by land ambulance.”
