Tragic Crash at Weeford: Man Dies After Car and Van Collision

West Midlands Ambulance Service was scrambled by police at 7:59pm to the dangerous junction of Flats Lane and the A5 in Weeford. The crash involved a car and a van. Two ambulances, two paramedic officers, a critical care paramedic, and a doctor all responded swiftly.
One Man Dies, Another Treated for Minor Injuries
A spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “When crews arrived, they found an occupant of the car in critical condition. Staff worked quickly to provide advanced trauma care, but despite their best efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.”
She added: “A second patient received treatment for minor injuries and was discharged at the scene.”
