Swift Police Action in Thanet
Just after 1pm on Sunday, 26 April 2020, cops were alerted to a stolen Seat from Linley Road. The Thanet Community Policing Team didn’t waste time.
Catch in Sandwich
They tracked down and stopped the car in Sandwich hours later. Two people were arrested at the scene.
Two Arrested, One Freed
- A 29-year-old Margate woman was released without charge.
- A 30-year-old man from Westgate was held on multiple charges: suspicion of taking a vehicle without consent, driving without a proper licence, and driving uninsured.
More Trouble for Westgate Man
He also received a caution for possessing amphetamines. He’s now out on bail pending further enquiry.
