Woman Sexually Assaulted in Eltham Park – Police Hunt Man
Police are urgently hunting a man who attacked a woman in a park in Eltham. The victim, a woman in her 60s, was assaulted at around 7:20pm on Sunday, 16 May near Glenesk Road, SE9.
Shocking Attack in Local Park
The woman was walking alone when an unknown male pushed her into the bushes and sexually assaulted her. When she shouted for help, the attacker punched her in the face before fleeing the scene.
Suspect Description and Getaway Vehicle
- Suspect aged between 20 and 40
- Muscular but slim build
- Wearing all black – jacket, hoody, trousers, and trainers
- Escaped in a black 4×4 vehicle
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Detective Sergeant Dupe Mfon said: “I would appeal to anyone who was in the area and saw this incident, or witnessed the man fleeing the scene, to contact police. Any information you have could prove vital to us in identifying and apprehending this dangerous individual.”
