Masked Armed Robber Holds Up McColl’s in Totton
Police hunt masked mugger who struck at knifepoint in Southampton store.
Halloween Horror at McColl’s
Just after 9.30pm on Thursday 26 October, a man wearing a creepy Halloween mask stormed into the McColl’s on Water Lane, Totton. Armed with a knife, he threatened the cashier and grabbed cash, scratchcards, and tobacco before making a clean getaway.
Distinctive Mask and Description
- About 5ft 7ins tall
- Blue eyes
- Light stone grey hoodie and blue jeans
- Wore a green mask resembling either a zombie or Frankenstein’s monster
Police Appeal for Witnesses
The cashier escaped unharmed, but police want anyone who saw the masked man entering or leaving the store to come forward.
“If you have any information relating to this case, please call 101 quoting reference ‘44170417041’, or report anonymously,” said officers.
