Man Nabbed in Cheshire Over Terror Document
A man was grabbed last night (Monday, June 27) in the Cheshire town of Winsford. He’s now being questioned in the West Midlands.
Suspected Terror Document in Possession
Police arrested him on suspicion of owning a document that could help someone plan or carry out a terror attack. This breaks Section 58 of the Terrorism Act 2000.
Intelligence-Led Arrest
The crackdown came from intelligence tips. Authorities stressed there’s no immediate danger to the public.
