The Dartford Road crossing was forced to shut on Thursday evening after a vehicle erupted in flames.
Blazing Car Sparks Emergency Response
Kent Fire and Rescue Service raced to the scene just after 8pm to back up Essex crews battling the blaze on the Dartford crossing bridge.
Three Fire Engines Tackle Flames
Three engines from Kent arrived swiftly. Firefighters, decked out in breathing gear, doused the fire using a hose reel jet.
No Injuries Reported
Thankfully, there were no injuries during the fiery incident, but the crossing remained closed while crews worked.
