Man Hospitalised After Suspected Stabbing in Worksop
Detectives are on the hunt for witnesses after a man was rushed to hospital following a suspected stabbing in Worksop.
Two Men Arrested Over Knife Attack
The attack happened around 7.30pm on Kilton Road last night (Friday, 14 May). The victim’s injuries are serious but not life-threatening or permanently damaging.
Two men aged 22 and 20 were arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent. The younger man also faces possession charges after officers found cannabis in a search.
Police Urge Locals to Speak Up
“Luckily the victim is expected to make a full recovery,” said Detective Sergeant Matt Scott of Nottinghamshire Police. “But any time a weapon’s used, it could have been far worse.”
“Our officers moved fast to arrest two suspects and are now piecing together what happened. We think this was an isolated incident and there’s no ongoing threat to the public.”
