Police Recover Weapon but Suspect Still on the Run
Detective Constable Hickson of the Met’s Central North BCU revealed that the machete was recovered under communal bins near Hillfield House, just off Grosvenor Avenue.
“The police investigation led to the recovery of the machete, which was left under communal bins outside Hillfield House off Grosvenor Avenue. However, the suspect remains outstanding.”
Can You Help ID This Violent Criminal?
Despite blurry CCTV footage, DC Hickson is hopeful someone will recognise the man from his clothing and build. He’s described as a white male, 25-30 years old, around 6ft tall, and slim.
“He is a callous individual who brandished a terrifying weapon for a paltry loot. If you know who he is, please tell police or contact Crimestoppers anonymously.”
