Police Hunt Man Over Croydon Rape

Police were called shortly after 9pm on 3 December 2021 following a horrific attack in Croydon. A woman in her 40s reported she had been raped at a residential address.

Man Followed Victim Into Home

It’s understood the suspect was walking down the street before the incident. He followed the woman into the property where the attack happened.

Met Police Release E-Fit

Detectives have now released an E-fit of a man they urgently want to speak to. They’re appealing to the public for help in identifying him.

“This was an absolutely terrifying ordeal for the victim and she continues to be supported by specialist officers,” said Detective Constable Penelope Rea from the Public Protection team. “We have carried out extensive enquiries to identify the man responsible and now need the public’s help. If you recognise him, please get in touch immediately.”
