Police Step In – Four Arrested
Sussex Police arrived at the scene around 1.15 pm and quickly acted to keep the peace. A police spokesperson said:
“Officers engaged with those present and the business to facilitate a peaceful protest and minimise disruption to the public. Four people have been arrested on suspicion of aggravated trespass and taken into custody.”
The arrested activists now face charges, as Barclays resumes normal operations amid heightened tension.
