Four Arrested After Mopeds Crash Outside Bexleyheath Restaurant
Moped Collision Sparks Police Action
Four males have been arrested following a smash-up involving two mopeds in Bexleyheath this week. The crash happened outside a restaurant on Crook Log at 10.29pm on Tuesday, August 12.
Teens and Men Held at Scene
Police rushed to the scene where they found two mopeds had collided. Four males aged between 15 and 32 were arrested on suspicion of the crash and other related offences.
A 17-year-old boy was seriously injured and taken to hospital. Thankfully, his condition is now confirmed as neither life-threatening nor life-changing. He remains in custody.
Police Issue Official Statement
“Police were called to a collision between two mopeds outside a restaurant on Crook Log in Bexleyheath at 22:29hrs on Tuesday, 12 August. Four males – aged between 15 and 32 – were arrested at the scene in connection with the collision and further offences. One of those arrested, a 17-year-old boy, remains in hospital having sustained injuries, however these have been deemed not life-threatening nor life-changing.” – Metropolitan Police
