Man Dies in Shocking High Street Brawl in Cowley
Chaos erupted on Cowley High Street yesterday at 12.30pm when two men clashed in a brutal fight. Emergency services rushed to the scene, but despite paramedics’ efforts, a 62-year-old man tragically died shortly after.
43-Year-Old Arrested on Murder Charge
Police arrested a 43-year-old man on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody as detectives say no one else is being sought in connection with the deadly altercation.

“My team are working at pace to establish the full circumstances that led to this man’s tragic death,” said Detective Inspector Richard Kempshall. “We urge anyone who was near Cowley High Street to check any doorbell or CCTV footage and share it with us.”
