Dramatic River Rescue at Barking Riverside!

Emergency crews raced to the River Thames near Barking Riverside at around 6.30pm on September 15. Ambulance teams, firefighters, and police were all on the scene by Barking Riverside Pier, across from Thamesmead.

Man Plucked from River, Rushed to Hospital

A man was treated at the riverside before being rushed to hospital as a priority. How he ended up in the water and his current condition are still unknown.

London Ambulance Service Speaks Out

“We were called at 6.38pm yesterday (15 September) to reports of a person in the River Thames at Barking Riverside. We sent an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car, an incident response officer, and our Hazardous Area Response Team to the scene. We treated a patient at the scene and took him to hospital as a priority,” said a London Ambulance Service spokesperson.
