Daylight Horror on Canal Towpath as Man Slashed in Aldermaston
Brutal Attack Sparks Police Lockdown
Police sealed off a stretch of the canal towpath at Frouds Lane, Aldermaston after a man was viciously slashed in broad daylight. Thames Valley Police and South Central ambulance crews rushed to the scene on Sunday evening following the shocking assault.
Victim Rushed to Hospital
The injured man received treatment on the spot before being rushed to Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading. His condition has not been disclosed.
Police Hunt for Witnesses
Detectives have launched a full investigation but no suspects have been caught yet. Officers urged anyone who saw the attack or was in the area to call them immediately on 101.
