Fatal Fire in Folkestone: Police Seek Witnesses

Blaze Breaks Out on Shorncliffe Road

A property on Shorncliffe Road, Folkestone, went up in flames on the morning of Thursday, 17 February 2022. Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) scrambled to the scene at 10:30am, opposite the junction with Christ Church Road.

One Dead as Fire is Doused

Police arrived alongside KFRS and South East Coast Ambulance Service. Despite efforts, a person was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the fire remains unknown, but authorities are treating it as suspicious.
