Big Bucks Drug Bust: Thames Valley Police Smash Organised Crime Ring
Thames Valley Police launched a major crackdown today (12/11), executing a string of raids across Buckinghamshire to hit organised crime hard.
19 Raids, 20 Arrests, And Huge Seizures
Officers swooped on addresses in High Wycombe, Bourne End, Marlow, Flackwell Heath, Farnham Common, and Wooburn Green, plus a property in Slough, Berkshire.
These raids are part of ‘Operation Riddler’, the culmination of a year-long probe targeting drug dealers and money launderers.
In total, police searched 19 properties, smashing the operation with 20 arrests. They seized large amounts of cash, drugs, vehicles, clothes, and other items thought to be bought with criminal proceeds.
Police Vow To Crack Down On Drug Crime
“This has been a significant operation which has come as a result of more than a year’s worth of investigation and intelligence gathering by a large number of officers,” said Detective Chief Inspector Jonathan Chandler.
“We identified a number of people and addresses connected to drug sales across Buckinghamshire.
“We know local residents have raised concerns about activity at these locations, and we hope today’s action shows we’re listening and taking action.”
“Those who organise illegal drugs are a blight on our communities. We will not tolerate this kind of offending, which causes misery in many ways.
“We’ll keep fighting these criminals, bringing them to justice and seizing their ill-gotten gains.”
