Massive Cannabis Factory Discovered at Abandoned Pub in Bath Road

Police stumbled upon a sophisticated cannabis farm with over 200 plants growing at different stages. The haul was uncovered after a 10.15pm tip-off on March 14, initially reported as a suspected burglary at the long-abandoned Unicorn pub on Bath Road.

Electricity Board Steps In to Secure Scene

The following day, the electricity board arrived to make the premises safe, allowing officers to enter. The sprawling illegal setup has since been completely dismantled by authorities.

No Arrests Yet – Police Urge Public to Help

So far, no arrests have been made, but police say enquiries are ongoing and wide-reaching. They’re keen to hear from anyone who spotted people or vehicles around the derelict pub in recent weeks.

“Organised crime groups often target abandoned commercial buildings,” a spokesperson warned. “If you notice any suspicious activity, please report it so we can investigate.”
