Masked Knives Threaten Staff in Bold Hucknall Road Robbery

Two Armed Thieves Strike Just Before 6pm

On Tuesday 20 December, just before 6pm, havoc hit a Hucknall Road premise near Gala Way. Two masked men burst inside, one brandishing a knife, while a third waited outside. Their target? Two members of staff.

The robbers demanded the staff hand over their watches, wallets, and phones. They grabbed a silver Rolex with a black dial bought in 2017 for around £10,000, plus a gold and black RADO watch worth about £2,000.

Alongside the expensive timepieces, the thieves also stole a space grey iPhone 13 Max and a white iPhone 10 before fleeing.

Distinctive Descriptions Released to Catch Crooks

  • Suspect 1: Black male, 5ft 8in, stocky, 20s. Wearing black jacket with white Nike logo, black baseball cap under hoody, black gloves, black Nike Air Force trainers, and joggers.
  • Suspect 2: 5ft 8in, slim build, face mask, grey puffer jacket, black joggers, gloves, and trainers. Skin tone and age unknown due to mask.
  • Third Man Outside: Navy jacket, black cap, green or khaki face mask, gloves.

Police Hunt Intensifies After Shocking Work Robbery

Detective Constable Mitchell Thomas said: “This was a horrific and appalling incident where two men were intimidated and robbed at work. Since December, we have worked tirelessly using CCTV, forensics, financial checks, and tracking the stolen watches to find the suspects.”

He added: “We urge anyone with information or who may have seen these stolen watches to come forward. The Rolex Datejust 2017, serial number 126334, and black RADO watch are key to catching these offenders.”
