Blow to the Head Causes Serious Fall
The victim was walking along Kennedy Avenue at around 10.30pm on Tuesday, September 8, when he was struck from behind. The punch caused him to fall face-first onto the pavement, leaving him with multiple facial injuries.

Police Seek Skinny White Man in Black Tracksuit
Forensic teams investigated the scene, and officers are keen to identify a man spotted nearby at the time. The suspect is described as white, slim build, and wearing a black tracksuit.
Detective Inspector Colin Garman said: “This was a violent and seemingly unprovoked attack on an elderly man. Thankfully he is okay, however he has been left understandably shaken by this incident.”
“The motive for the attack remains unclear. Our enquiries are ongoing to find out exactly what happened and why.”
“While there is no current evidence linking this to two other recent assaults on elderly men in the area, we reassure the community we are doing everything possible to catch those responsible.”
