A 70-year-old cyclist from Eastleigh was found dead early Saturday morning on Peak Lane in Upham.

Emergency crews discovered the man lying beside his bike between 6 and 8 a.m. on August 6. Despite their desperate efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police Launch Urgent Appeal for Witnesses

“We need anyone who was nearby or saw what happened to get in touch immediately,” said Police Constable Adam Sandham. Authorities are also keen to hear from anyone with dash-cam footage from the area at the time.

“No detail is too small. Your information could be crucial to understanding exactly what happened,” the police added.
