Tragic Blaze Claims Teen’s Life in Thetford
An 18-year-old man has died after a devastating house fire tore through a property in Thetford on Sunday evening.
Four Rushed to Hospital
The fire broke out at a home on Staniforth Road around 7:30 p.m. Emergency services rushed to the scene, taking four people to West Suffolk Hospital. Sadly, one of them was the young man who later died.
Two others suffering from smoke inhalation were treated at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, while a third person was treated and released at the scene.
Police and Firefighters Probe Cause
Authorities have launched a joint investigation to uncover what sparked the deadly blaze. Police are urging anyone who witnessed the fire or has information to come forward.
