Three Teens Held After Man Dies in Brutal Warden Bay Beach Assault

Three teenagers are in police custody following the tragic death of a man in his 40s, who suffered severe head injuries in an alleged attack at Warden Bay, Kent.

Nightmare on Warden Bay Road

Kent Police rushed to Warden Bay Road around 7pm on Sunday, August 10, responding to reports of a violent altercation involving a small group.

A 16-year-old girl and two boys, aged 14 and 15, were arrested on suspicion of murder. Forensic teams, police dogs, and search officers have scoured the scene, cordoning off a large part of the beach near the Warden Bay Restaurant.

Concrete Slab and Kicks to the Head – Witnesses Speak Out

Eyewitnesses say the victim may have been hit with a heavy concrete slab before his head was kicked “like a football” by youths.

“It was obvious to me he was dead and that nobody was going to bring him back,” said one witness. “My 11-year-old son was with me — I tried to shield him and told him to cycle back to the caravan immediately.”

A woman at the scene reportedly tried CPR on the victim, but sadly, it was too late.

Community Left Stunned

Local residents and holidaymakers have expressed shock and disbelief at the violent killing on a popular beach.

The tragic event has drawn chilling comparisons to a 2013 murder on the same beach, where David Evans, 34, was beaten to death by a gang.
