Teen Stabbed to Death in Brutal Southall Attack

Rishmeet Singh, 16, has tragically died after a stabbing on Raleigh Road, Southall. The local teen was found with fatal wounds on Wednesday night, November 24. His family has been informed and are receiving specialist support.

Murder Investigation Underway

Police were called at 9:07pm following a fight involving a group of people that ended in Rishmeet being stabbed. Despite paramedics’ efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

No arrests have been made yet, but the Met’s Specialist Crime Command is leading a full murder inquiry. A post-mortem will be conducted soon.

Police Appeal for Witnesses and CCTV Footage

Detective Chief Inspector James Shirley said: “Our thoughts are with Rishmeet’s family and friends at this heartbreaking time. We are working around the clock to bring those responsible to justice. If you were near Raleigh Road just after 9pm on Wednesday and saw anything, please come forward. If you have any CCTV, doorbell, or dashcam footage from the area, it could be vital to this investigation.”

Chief Superintendent Sean Wilson added: “This tragedy has shocked the community. We are stepping up patrols across Southall, Hounslow, Ealing, and Hillingdon. Residents with concerns should speak to our officers. I urge anyone with information about this attack to contact us immediately.”

Dispersal Order in Place Amid Rising Tensions

Police have issued a Section 35 dispersal order covering Southall Broadway, Southall Green, the Havelock Estate, Uxbridge, and Hayes until Sunday, November 28 at 2:29pm. This gives officers powers to move on individuals to prevent further violence.
