Woman, 20s, Killed in Hit-and-Run on Brixton Hill
Police tried to stop a car, but it sped off instead. The fleeing vehicle crashed into a pedestrian on Brixton Hill around 9.47pm on Wednesday 19th.
Driver Flees the Scene
The car didn’t stop after the collision. It was found nearby, but the occupants remain at large. Police are hunting for those involved.
Tragic Fatality Under Investigation
A woman in her twenties died at the scene. Officers are informing her next of kin. The Directorate of Professional Standards has been notified, as is standard procedure.
