Police Chase Ends with Shoplifting Suspects Caught in Willesborough
At 3.50pm on Friday 25 November 2022, police on patrol in Willesborough spotted a suspicious vehicle linked to crime.
With help from a police helicopter, officers worked together to stop the car on Silver Hill Road.
Stolen Goods and Shoplifting Gear Found
At the scene, officers found new clothes with security tags still on – believed stolen. They also uncovered tin foil-lined bags and other shoplifting tools.
Two Arrested and Held in Custody
- A 22-year-old woman and a 16-year-old boy were arrested.
- Both face suspicion of theft and being equipped to steal.
- The boy was also arrested for theft from a vehicle.
Both suspects remain in custody as police continue their investigation.
