Teen Thugs Busted After Brazen Chislehurst Station Robbery
Two teenagers have been arrested following a daring robbery at Chislehurst Railway Station. The rapid police response highlights a no-nonsense crackdown on crime in the area.
Off-Duty Cop Chases Down Suspect
The drama unfolded on Saturday, February 10, around 3.20pm. An off-duty British Transport Police (BTP) officer spotted the robbery in progress and immediately went into action, chasing down one of the suspects on the spot.
Backup was quickly called in. Additional police units arrived promptly, sweeping the station and nearby areas.
Two Boys Snapped Up and Bailed
Officers arrested a 15-year-old boy on suspicion of robbery. A 13-year-old was also detained for involvement. Both teens have since been released on bail while investigations continue.
A BTP spokesperson said: “We worked closely with the Metropolitan Police to respond swiftly. Those arrested remain on bail as inquiries carry on.”
