The firefighting crew, which initially numbered around 60, is now scaling back to about 20 personnel stationed to tackle hot spots and ensure the fire is fully extinguished. The effort relies on aerial ladder platforms to douse the blaze from above, with drones providing crucial aerial views of the scene.

Residents Urged to Stay Safe Amid Lingering Smoke

Though the worst appears to be over, Essex’s finest remain vigilant on site to finish the job. Locals close to the fire are warned to keep doors and windows shut due to thick smoke still drifting in the area.
