Stab Attack Shocks Leysdown Beach Party
Two men were viciously stabbed during a late-night beach party in Leysdown. The violent assault happened at around midnight on June 25, 2020, while the victims were walking along The Promenade.
Police Act Fast, Arrest London Man
Officers were in the area enforcing social distancing rules when the attack unfolded. Minutes later, they arrested a 24-year-old Londoner on suspicion of wounding with intent. He remains in custody as the investigation continues.
Victims Seriously Injured, Appeal for Witnesses
Both victims, men in their 20s, were rushed to a London hospital with serious but stable stab wounds. Detective Inspector Neil Kimber of Kent Police’s Major Crime team urges anyone with information or footage to come forward.
“This was a serious incident with many people around. We need anyone with drone or mobile phone footage to get in touch. Your details will remain confidential,” Kimber said.
