England Captain Harry Kane’s Kids Involved in Munich Van Crash
The England captain’s three children – Ivy, seven, Vivienne, five, and Louis, three – were caught up in a car crash in Munich. They were travelling in a Mercedes van that smashed into a Renault near Schäftlarn on Monday afternoon.
Crash Hits Ahead of Champions League Battle
The collision happened at 5:15pm as Kane, 30, was en route to London with Bayern Munich ahead of their Champions League quarter-final clash against Arsenal. The Renault was turning onto a motorway slip road when the two vehicles collided.
Emergency services rushed to the scene. All eight passengers from both vehicles – including Kane’s children – were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Mercedes and Renault Severely Damaged
The Mercedes van’s bonnet suffered heavy damage. The Renault’s front end was smashed, with a wheel knocked off alignment.
Police confirmed that among the Renault passengers, a 20-year-old woman and a three-year-old child also suffered minor injuries. The Mercedes was driven by a 24-year-old German woman.
Munich police said all involved received minor injuries and were treated in hospital.
Kane’s spokesperson reassured the public that the England captain’s children were unharmed and underwent routine hospital checks.
Kane Shines Despite Ordeal
Undeterred by the drama, Kane made his first club appearance in England for Bayern Munich since his transfer, scoring in the 2-2 Champions League draw against Arsenal.
German police are still investigating the crash’s cause.
