Police Arrest Man Found With Head Injury and Drugs
Officers tracked down and detained a man nearby shortly after. During a search, they seized the stolen alcohol and a small amount of white powder—believed to be cocaine.
Stephen McGinty Faces Multiple Charges
On Wednesday 3 July, Canterbury’s Victim Based Crime Team charged 37-year-old Stephen McGinty, of no fixed address, with:
- Two counts of assault on an emergency worker
- Possession of a class A drug
- Theft
- A public order offence
McGinty was remanded in custody and is set to appear at Margate Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 4 July.
