Sexual Risk Order Breach Lands Man in Court
Ross Toulson, 47, with no fixed address, faces court for breaching a Sexual Risk Order. The order, issued on February 8, 2024, required him to notify police within three days of any UK residence or place he regularly stays.
Charged with Failing to Notify Police
Toulson has been charged for failing to comply. He pleaded not guilty at swindon/" title="Swindon" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Swindon Magistrates’ Court on May 7. The case is set for trial on August 22 at the same court.
Police Warn: Breaches Won’t Be Tolerated
PC Jess Swanborough from Chippenham Neighbourhood Police said:
“These orders are put in place to ensure the safeguarding and protection of both victims and members of the public. We take breaches of Sexual Risk Orders incredibly seriously and will ensure anyone who breaks them is brought before the courts.”
The police remain vigilant and are warning offenders that violations of these orders come with swift consequences.
