Thomas Adams, 29, is locked up after police found a missing teenager hidden in his bedroom. Even behind bars, he refused to stop pestering her.
3,500 Calls and Nearly 13,000 Texts From Prison
Bradford Crown Court heard Adams kept contacting the girl nonstop. In just six months behind bars, he made 3,506 calls and exchanged 12,975 texts with her. This continued even after her dad confiscated her phone.
When guards searched Adams’ cell, they found a phone charger, photos of the teenager, and a contact book with her details.
Mini Phone Hidden in Cell Pipework Exposed His Lies
Adams was caught red-handed trying to sneak calls through a scrapped mini phone stashed in the pipework of his segregation cell. He even gave prison staff a fake name for the teenager to keep contact on the prison-approved list.
Eight Years Inside Plus Lifetime Sex Offender Status
The Bradford man pleaded guilty to multiple offences including engaging in sexual activity and inciting a child. On Wednesday, he was jailed for eight years with a five-year extended licence. He will remain a registered sex offender for life.
