Paedophile Richard Sherriff Jailed for Raping Teen Boy
Richard Sherriff, 40, was locked up at Stafford Crown Court after being found guilty of raping a boy aged between 13 and 15. The offences took place between May 2008 and February 2009.
Sherriff Cleared of Additional Charge
Based in Main Road, Little Haywood, Sherriff was acquitted of assault by penetration on the same victim during the same period. The verdict came after a tense trial at Stafford Crown Court.

“Although time has passed, we remain committed to supporting victims and delivering justice,” said Detective Inspector Zoe Kelsall of Staffordshire Police. “I want to pay tribute to the victim and the courage he demonstrated in helping us bring this case before the courts.”
