Man Faces Court Over Racist Rant in Folkestone
A suspect has been charged with racially aggravated harassment after a shocking incident in Folkestone.
Shouting Abuse on Sandgate Road
Kent Police were called on the afternoon of Sunday, 12 July 2020, after reports of a man shouting racist abuse at passersby on Sandgate Road.
Richard Franks Arrested and Charged
Richard Franks, 57, of no fixed address, was arrested at the scene. He now faces charges of using racially aggravated threatening words or behaviour with intent to cause harassment or distress.
Court Date Set
Mr Franks is due to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 14 July.
