Driver flees officers before being caught
Officers stopped a vehicle in Bevis Close, Dartford, around 9pm on Monday 14 February 2022. When they tried to detain the driver to search the car, he bolted. Police gave chase and caught him shortly after.
Knives and Class A drugs found in search
A thorough search of the vehicle uncovered a knife and a large haul of Class A drugs, including cocaine and heroin.
Gibril Kamara charged and bailed
Gibril Kamara, 26, from Station Road, Gravesend, now faces charges for possession with intent to supply cocaine and heroin, carrying a knife, and acquiring criminal property.
He appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on 16 February and has been bailed to return to Woolwich Crown Court on 16 March 2022.
