Woman Charged After Violent Outburst in Kent
Chaos erupted on Reach Road, Kent, last Wednesday when police were called to deal with a woman reportedly acting aggressively and threateningly.
Police Detain 63-Year-Old Suspect
Officers arrived on the scene to find Laurie Knight, 63, whose behaviour led to her detention. The drama didn’t end there—Knight allegedly assaulted two police officers while in custody.
Serious Charges Filed Against Knight
- Using threatening or abusive language and behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress
- Two counts of assault on an emergency worker
- Possession of a class B drug
Knight is set to face Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 29 December.
