Lego Thief Busted at Tesco Express
George Christopher Martin, 42, got caught stealing two Lego sets worth £90 from a Tesco Express on Augustin Road on May 25, 2022.
Quick Guilty Plea and Fine
Martin admitted the theft the very next day at Bromley Magistrates’ Court. He was slapped with a £95 fine to cover victim service costs.
Community Order and Tesco Ban
- Martin must complete a community order by November 25, 2022.
- He’s banned from Tesco Express stores for six months.
- He has to pay £10 every two weeks starting June 30, 2022.
Martin’s Lego heist has clearly cost him more than just the price of the toy bricks.
