Massive Cannabis Grow Op Busted in Appledore!
Police swooped on an outbuilding in Appledore on the morning of Friday 28 January 2022, uncovering a huge stash of around 300 cannabis plants hidden in secret rooms.
Half a Garden’s Worth of Weed Found
Officers seized the plants and took apart all the specialist growing gear. The operation was clearly well-hidden but no match for the cops.
Man Arrested and Bailed
A 52-year-old man from nearby Tenterden was arrested on suspicion of cannabis cultivation. He’s now out on police bail until 25 January as investigations continue.
