Double Fatal Crash Shakes Barnsley

Tragedy hit Barnsley on Saturday, March 23, when a horrific crash at the Barugh Green crossroad junction claimed two lives. The smash involved multiple vehicles, including a white Suzuki and a grey Range Rover.

Two Dead, Seven Injured in Horror Pile-Up

The collision was severe, affecting several other vehicles. Sadly, a 75-year-old man and an 85-year-old woman were pronounced dead at the scene. Seven more people suffered serious injuries, but none were life-threatening.

Man Arrested and Released on Bail

Police took a 65-year-old man into custody following the collision. He has since been released on bail while inquiries continue.
