Hidden Class A Drugs Sniffed Out in Dover
In September 2019, Kent Police pulled over a car driven by Jaisha Williams. A quick check by Police Dog Charlie, a 16-month-old Cocker Spaniel, revealed 60 wraps of heroin and crack cocaine stashed cleverly in the vehicle’s air vents.
Williams, 23, from Marden Crescent, Croydon, was caught red-handed with drugs worth up to £1,200 on the streets, plus £800 in cash he claimed was to buy a van. But the phone analysis told a different story — he was running a county lines operation supplying drugs around Dover.
Seven Years and Ten Months Behind Bars
Williams pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including possession with intent to supply class A substances and possessing criminal property. Judges at Canterbury Crown Court handed down a hefty sentence on 20 November.
Kent Police Say ‘No Tolerance’ for Drug Dealers
“Despite knowing the damage drugs cause to families and communities, Williams chose to profit from addiction,” said PC Jake Griffiths, the lead investigator.
He added a stern warning: “Anyone bringing class A drugs into Kent should know we have teams and specialist resources ready to catch and convict.”
